Where is MEWcon?
MEWcon will always be held in the Portland-Vancouver area. Please check the Venue page to see which venue we have secured this year.

What is needed to be an exhibitor?

I heard you offer some free exhibitor table, what do I have to do to get one?
Free tables are on a first-come, first-served basis, there is a very limited number. To apply for a free table you must be an independantly owned business and hold three unique, hands on panels over the two day period of the convention. If you cancel your panels or no-show you will be billed for your table accordingly. Apply here.

I have questions on sponsoring or advertising with MEW, who should I contact?

What are the requirements for panelist and who do I contact?
Panelist requirements are here. Contact us for any panelist questions and to submit panel request forms.

Do panelists get discounts?
Panelist get rebates instead of discounts. The amount of the rebate will depend on how many panels you hold. Please contact us for more information.

I would like to be a guest at MEWcon, who do I contact?

Why are you called MEW?
Because we like the sound of it, it's just so fun to say. Actually, M.E.W. is an acronym for Manga & Exotic Worlds.

What do you mean "exotic"...? is this a cleverly disguised adult site?
No. We get that question a lot which is why M.E.W. is an acronym. "Exotic Worlds" refers to Anime Sci-Fi and Fantasy MEWASF was just too long (and not as cute). MEW's convention does have some adult content, but it is not a large part of the event. The convention itself is for all ages and adult panels and content are always clearly marked with ID checked and after dark.

Is MEW a furry convention?
No, our mascot is a play off our name. We are not a fur convention.

Who created MEW?
Admin created MEW.

Who created MEW's mascots?
Lunar and Solar were created by Misuteru.
