Idea's for some More Guests

This should be some suggestions about people you think would like to come to Mew-Con next year!


I have one, I think we should ask Mark Crilley to come. He is a american Manga-ka or Manga Artist and I think hes pretty good. He wrote the manga Miki Falls and is now starting on another. He also gives hints on how to draw on Youtube (link: http://www.youtube.com/user/markcrilley ) and seems like he would be rather fun to have at the con. He is also pretty local so he wouldn't have to go to far to come.

I second that motion, I never read his manga series but I learned how to draw better from his videos

I read the first book of Miki Falls: Spring. Its rather interesting and actually has a different feeling then any that I have read before. There are 4 books to the series falling along the seasons and you can read them from the Portland Public Library if you want to take a look.

Bring back Spike Spencer- he was an absolute blast to listen to during his panels.

Abney Park- Heard the DJ spin "Dear Ophelia" during the dance and began to listen to them- good stuff and with their Steampunk slant they would make a really good addition to this particular con.

Speaking of Slant, The Slants would be great to have back and with their new CD they would have new material to play this time around.

Dark Horse Comics- they are Oregon based am I not correct? Would be good to have them about.

and bring back our regulars as well, of course.

We should get mary mclynn. Yeah anyone who knows that name knows getting hers impossible. But if we got her or steven jay blum the popularity of the con would shoot through the roof, might get our con off our feet. We probably couldn't do it yet BUT as soon as it's possible we should do it. Thatd put our MEW's popularity out there.

And for anyone who dosn't know the name you know the person, wether you think you do or not you know the person, almost every person in america knows both of their voices.
