PSP 2? It's coming, but it has issues

One of the rumored highlights of the e# expo this year is Sony announcing the Playstation Portable 2 for 2011.

Apparently, though, they haven't learned much from the difficulties selling the PSP Go, because the new handheld is going to completely eliminate physical media both for memory and for games. Which means that the only place you can obtain a PSP 2 game is from Sony themselves.

Is this going to be the trend for all video game players, though -- completely cutting out the game store to sell everything directly?

Well, no PSP 2 announcement this year.

New slimline Xbox 360, though, if anyone wants to touch anything Microsoft, that is. The advantage from my perspective is that it's let tp a $50 across-the-board price cut on the old stock of Xbox 360s, at least at GameStop.
