Your Tax Dollars at Play

« on: June 17, 2010, 05:28:12 PM »

My prepaid wireless prodiver just send me an LG Rumor 2 they'd refuirbished. It's a phone that was state of the art two and a half years ago but hopelessly obsolete in the age of smartphones. Nontheless, it's what I've got now.

I have very little experince with cellphones, especially phones that one can customize. So I have no idea how to put on a wallpaper or how to input ringtones from existing MP3 files (as opposed to purchaing ringtons and wallpapers from the provider). I really want an Osaka wallpaper (from AzuDai) and I'd like a nice ringtone or two (even though nobody ever calls me -- and I sort of like it that way). Anyone know how to do these things?

depends on the provider... some make it very annoying to try to use nonstock stuff.

Chaos reigns within.
Reflect, repent, and reboot.
Order shall return.
