Vancouver/Portland (Cosplay?) Meetup

I'm not sure how active these forums are, but it looks like they're definitely picking up lately! I've been dying to wear my Kirk costume out, and waiting until MEWCon doesn't seem to make me content.

Would anyone be interested in a cosplay meetup in either Vancouver or Portland? If anyone lives a little further up, like Longview, we could always storm the Three Rivers Mall. Which, honestly, is nothing compared to Lloyd's Centre or the Vancouver Mall, but things tend to seem a lot better with a bunch of people dressed as awkwardly as you.

No idea about dates, but I'm thinking maybe sometime in August before school starts back up again and when I don't have summer classes as well.

Keep in mind, I'm always open to not having to sweat underneath a wig/binding all day! I always love meeting up with people out of costume as well.

Well if you are looking for a cosplay group to hang out with in Portland check out The Youthful Otakus on DA, they have a few cool weea friends and they cosplay often. I would not mind meeting up in cosplay but my new outfit will not be done till late august and close to Kcon- if you are still cool with that then SURE, if it is just a basic meetup you want I will be in Portland the first Saturday of August.
