Hi Bailey, I'm Zack, a.k.a Legoman, a.k.a your friendly neighborhood mod.

M.E.W.con is a cross-genre convention. Anime, Sci-fi, horror, etc. I like to describe it as "If a convention exists for it, M.E.W.con probably covers it."

If you are looking to attend M.E.W.con you can find our pre-registration page here.

If you are interested in becoming staff for M.E.W.con this year our online staff form is located here, and if you would like to stream line the process you can also e-mail our head of recruitment at TanisNikana@gmail.com.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

You don't have to dress up. There is a strict R rating on the con so anyone under 17 will have to be accompanied by a parent/guardian. We have staff meetings year round but if you don't plan on being staff you don't have to go to them.

Hi Rebelcat Bailey! Welcome to the fandom!

Just to let you know, not all MEW and Morak Events are R, just the convention on New Years. We have an all ages costume ball on Oct. 16 in Portland and MEW's sister Alls Faire is in June and is also cross-genre and all ages.

The costume ball is $10 at the door. It's Oct 16 from 7-midnight at the University Park Community Center: 9009 North Foss Avenue Portland, OR 97203-2078
