It is possible we might have to try to go through Dark Horse to get in touch with Joss Whedon for permission for this, but hey, would that not itself be phenomenally awesome?
"The Evil League of Evil", run by "Bad Horse," is a consortium of dastardly deed-doers which the titular anti-hero of "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog" aspires to join.
When Dr. Horrible's became such a runaway hit, Joss & crew set up an online contest, for folks to send videos of themselves, in persona, singing about why they should be the next villian admitted into their secret club.
As soon as I saw that MEW's middle day this year was themed around people cosplaying villians, I figured this is would be so epic. To have folks as their villians they are cosplaying state their claims for why they should be considered top-rate & fit for such a crew.
The title could be changed to avoid the probably tiny chance of any active copyright defense. We could call it anything we want. Badass Bragadoccio is what first comes to mind.....
