Cosplay Progress!

Alot of Louisiana Cons have a progress thread where they/you give updates and/or pics of your costumes as they go through the trails of completion.
 So lets see some progress

Hmm, the Silent Hill Nurse is done, save for fixing the side since it ripped along the seam. ><
As for Beast... Friend is making the actual costume because she's amazing, and that will be done in december. The wig will be started on soon, since I now have an.. interesting way to get the curls to stay(lets see if this works or if I kill my wig. XD;; ), and the whip is here so I will be practicing with it every few days in hopes to be able to get a few tricks down by con to show off.

I'm working on my Lugia now. It doesn't seem like it will take too terribly long to do. I would imagine it would be done around the beginning of December.

I'm really amazed by you guys that manufacture your own costumes. Though I question the time table necessary in doing so. Time is more precious to me than money, fame and all forms of talent. So the speedy costume makers are really the only ones that ever manage to wow me. :/

My costumes are made overseas but those are always the primary part. 90% of my cosplay is always seated in hard to find accessories.

That's actually the best way to get the costume done, imo. XD Procrastination leads to freaking, leading to quick work and(with my and my friend's case) a awesome costume in the end, oddly enough.

Mini update: Wig is completely finished and beautiful. Money will be getting to friend soon and costume will be worked on at that point.

Lilith is almost done :3 I am so happy to try this costume out. I hope everything works just as I had planned. I am so happy with the way it looks so far but I am well aware that it can look better and I plan on making it look better after mewcon and before Sakuracon.

I need to make a new scarf for Kaito and put another layer of paint on the jacket.

I need to figure out what I'm actually wear for Envy, since I don't want to do his actual outfit...

Mainly I just need to get stuff together for my cosplays.

As for my Cheshire Cat, I need to buy things to make my mask and claws, and tail if I have time. So that's what I'm doing this week.

Kaito is my first character and I think I'm going to stick to Gakupoid/Vocaloid because it's sexy. <3

hmm then im going to have to bring out my roy mustang armstrong fusion i wonder if i can pull it off i got specal accsories that i hope the fan girls will like..if not i will die  D: i run on fan girl power the more there are the more powerful i become.. but i hope my  cosplay for the villains ball will be good enough... o hope i can wear the shirt open...

and the reason i did not spring for a new cosplay is this con is so small

It's not much of a "costume," but I've got all the clothing I need ready for my Carl Sagan cosplay. No one will recognize me, and I will spend the entire convention afraid that someone might assume I know something about astrophysics and ask me a question I won't know the answer to. But still, I feel like doing it.

I got all of my supplies for my mask and claws for Cheshire. I may even be making his tail if I have enough time. I think I got enough to do so...I'll be starting work tonight on those.
I'm going to Goodwill tomorrow (today) to get the rest of the stuff I need for him and maybe even something for one of my other cosplays.

I need to get all the stuff together for Mal, and get my hair cut -___-

I need to brush Riku's wig and Envy's wig and get everything together for them.

I still need to repaint Kaito's jacket and will probably do that tomorrow sometime.

Other than all that, I think I'm ready!

Just need to brush out the wig for my North Korea (Hetalia-inspired) cosplay and it's good to go.  My other cosplay was only finished yesterday - a long drawn out, sometimes frustrating process of making it myself... I was learning to sew while making it, so in a way it was a very educational experience.  Quite a relief to have it finished, that's for sure.
