Hi everyone. I am DaemonForce and I have recently noticed this little con conveniently placed in PDX at the end of the year. This is awesome in so many ways. Here's a quick bio in case any of you care(stalker! :3):

Name: Lucas
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Mentality: I don't know about much but I have a stronger grasp of this world than anyone I know.
Orientation: That's for you to figure out personally. :3
Data: Way more than you would find relevant to your tastes.
Smoking: It's sad that such a freedom is so heavily oppressed these days but I just don't like the smell of tobacco.
Alcohol: I'm the kind of guy that can effortlessly get the CUTE coworkers to drink and party with me. They used to spoil me with Grey Goose and very strong imported beers and I like the feeling from them as long as I'm around the people I like. My nickname used to be soda for more than obvious reasons if you've met me. These days I have strayed from the tasty vodka and now love of rum cocktails. I don't have an opinion on wine.
Colors: Since I'm usually looking at a screen I stick with the basic RGB trilogy.
Skill: Mechanic, music, air-conditioning, travel coordination, photography, data collection, voice.
Interests: I wish I could draw characters as good as the people who make sexy mangas. I believe my voice is good enough for synth-demos or dubbing for character voices but don't believe the range is there. I have yet to audition my potential due to several stupid situations that manage to get in my way.
Friends: I have a select few. They're usually slightly older or twice my age. Only two are actually any fun at parties and only one of them is female. :/
Hypervisor: Really? You're going to ask me about that? No touchie! :3
Anime: I started on Evangelion, expanded on random bad-translation anime and hentai, found interest in action-anime like Bleach, stupid anime like Ladies vs. Butlers and I'm a sucker for badly drawn romance like Peach Girl. Do not ask me about magical girl anime. O_o
Vocaloid: I absolutely love what Yamaha has done with this. There's no telling how high these guys were when they came up with the concept of real-time semi-synthetic vocals and this fad has taken off to such extremes that there's no way I can't like this.
Cosplay: See Vocaloid. I really like dressing as Kaito. The character voice, body, behavior and personality very closely match my own. Right now I have a light obsession with random Miku x Kaito art but for some reason I find myself crushing hard on all the hot Rin cosplayers. ♥ I like cosplayers that make an effort into looking good. The costume doesn't have to be perfect as long as it looks right. Know what I mean?
Cons: I normally stick to AX but I like traveling all over the West Coast for any good gatherings. I have a tendency to work long hours and I alienate myself from my friends and my own life so conventions are usually the only break I really ever get and that's why I put so much thought and planning into making them so much fun. Smiley

That's about all there is to me. <3

Wow. Most detailed intro ever! You must win some kind of points for that!
You <3 Vocaloid + You want more female friends = I need to introduce you to my pals Jeni & Taco who are amazing Vocaloid not only cosplayers but also karaoke'ers. However, I don't think they can afford to go to MEW. Will you be at Kumoricon?

Anyway. In all of that, I didn't catch where you live. If you're in Eugene, I'll hook you up Smiley

@ "Travel coordination": I work in a travel medicine clinic, and there is a gal who wants to host a panel on prepping for travel to Japan. Find that thread; maybe you'd have some pointers you could share with her.

As for me, well, I'm Rem (Ellen). I run Creation Stations (basically rooms full of fan creation programming). This will be my first MEW, and I will probably only be there 1/2 & as a panelist, and trying at least before con to be a support person to the person who is running the art room. You sound like you'd be fun to meet.

Welcome to the con Daemon Lucas!
WTF you recognize that as a title? Haha you're another creepy girl aren't you?

It can't be helped. Chu...♥

This is too interesting and I'm not sure if it's because you have a friend named Taco or the mutually shared love of Vocaloid. This is probably going to be loud and messy. Smiley
However, I don't think they can afford to go to MEW. Will you be at Kumoricon?
I don't usually go to Kumoricon because that's about the time my friends would usually steal me away for a party. Since the majority of them got married last year this hasn't been happening anymore. I might show up to Kumoricon only to wind up attending Aki the week after. It's a weird schedule but I tend to underspend at the smaller cons anyhow. I only dropped about $200 at this month's Aki-con so this definitely works.
Anyway. In all of that, I didn't catch where you live. If you're in Eugene, I'll hook you up Smiley
I can be if you want but I only see myself going to Portland for New Year's. I'm currently in Centralia so I can definitely go everywhere. It's good because it's in the middle of nowhere and along the I-5 but it has too many drawbacks like record highest unemployment, lethal drug problems and...I'm not going to dwell on this crap. MEWcon is here to steal me away from it. Smiley

If it's a panel I might be tempted to take it over. You know I would really get to it if I could buuuut...Okay! Tongue

My presence causes a little bit of chaos. I don't even have to say or do anything. All I do is show up and it's like an automatic quagmire. I'll have to keep an eye on you and the new art coming in. I have a really good feeling about all this and I'm not sure why. O_o

words
Ah this guy...A bit short but built, has a semi-broken soft voice and better taste in masks. Brain speed is as fast as frostbite. This is why his thoughts break mid-sentence and he's a fail-speller yet he somehow manages to be far better off physically than I was at his age. He's completely barren of female attention and his appearance makes him seem too submissive. You won't even need to know his name here. You'll recognize him when you see him(I did). Bad experience has thinned his skin to the point where girls and parents are the only things on his mind. Speaking of skin, he's a bit pale and his face still makes him appear masculine but not ugly masculine. Think of a half-way body between Ichigo Kurosaki and Sado Yasutora. He MIGHT be able to pull off a crossplay but it would have to be something simple without altering. I haven't been to Portland in years but I think the people there are still relatively small and a little above average. You'll fit in just fine so for once just shut up about it and have fun being around small adorkable girls that are going to smother you with love. Possibly yaoi.

If I had my way with your poses, they would be complex enough to where you would be posing with others and there wouldn't be one girl that could resist thinking of you in yaoi poses by the end of the first day. By the time I get the good shots posted, half of these girls would either want a piece of you or try locking you up. I'm still not sure if that's a good thing but just putting that out there. :/

i consider myself a gentleman i never got to show people the real me.
Mentlegen...Ha. You're a gentleman because that's all there is to you. There isn't a wild part about you(yet) and it's frustrating to everyone that talks to you because they quickly realize it. I know I'm a lot more to handle than most dare to admit but the first thing I ask a person when I want to know them personally is what kind of drugs they like. Since you seem to have no interest I don't even believe you're real. I can pick your dates for you in exact order again and I still won't know if you're there. I'm guessing Rem should help you instead.
