Please have your staff forms handed in by the next meeting or submitted through the website. If I don't have the staff forms by 12/13/2010, then there will not be a badge available for you at registration.

If you still need to fill out your form, follow this link http://www.mewcon.com/content/staff-registration-form-0

Thanks everyone.   Smiley

I would like to confirm that you have received registrations through that link for various Creation Station panelists, each providing 2 hours or more of panels for a Sunday day pass:
Ellen Klowden (me)
Katrina Spillman
Jamie Dellinger
Arashi Young

I will check with Robert Plamondon to see how he registered, as he is involved in over 2 hours of Creation Station panels, as well.

Thank you, love, Rem.

Panelist are not considered staff. They have to pay for a badge unless they are running enough panels to compensate for it.

Panelist are not considered staff. They have to pay for a badge unless they are running enough panels to compensate for it.

Which is why I specifically stated that each was providing a minimum of 2 hours of panels and was seeking a Sunday day pass.
2 hours of panels = day pass.
3 hours of panels = 1/2 off full weekend.
6 hours of panels = free full weekend.

Runa instructed me to have each utilize the staff registration link to provide their contact information.

If there is a separate panelist registration link (beyond registering the panels themselves) that we should use, in addition, to confirm our badges, just let me know.

Panelist contact e-mail and name is collected when they register a panel. Acquiring additional contact information, as needed, is the Panel Manager's duty. This is so our staff recruiters do not get flooded with panelist registrations.

I will be very grateful to hear from the person who started this thread if there is anything more or less or different that we should do.
Four of the five of us are entirely new to MEW.
Please know that if we accidentally gave anyone extra work that it was unintentional.

Thank you,
Rem.

PS To Lego: Thanks for the option to cease the PMs. I'm not replying.

Gratefully,
Rem.

Admin told me to have the panelists register as staff using the staff registration form & list their panels if they had enough panelist hours to qualify for free pass. So that's what I told them. Please don't confuse people with conflicting information.

I'm going to be staffing, but there's a few events I'm involved with as a participant and would like to be scheduled around.  Who should I contact about this?  I *think* I'm staffing for help with the charity auction and either registration or the library.

Yup! Hot and cold food both in Con Suite. Just ask around to find out where it is, as we can't afford to feed all the attendees. :-)
