Next year's MEW Con

I'm very excited that I will be staff for next year's MEW. I just talked with Kri this morning; I'm going to help by copy editing so we can make the best impact possible with visuals and texts. (This is also among my roles as Kumoricon 2011's Writing & Editing Coordinator.) I'll also still want to be a panelist and probably give folks breaks at the Kumoricon table, like this year; but I hope to come for more than one day next year!

So. I just noticed that next year's New Year's Eve is on a Saturday. I'm hoping that the con will start Friday, December 30th to remain a Friday-Sunday con. Is that the plan? Or is it important that the first night be New Year's Eve, such that it would be a Saturday-Monday con?

Is MEW remaining at the same hotel, or is that yet to be decided?
