Joining M.E.W. Convention: Do you have an interest in behind the scenes? Would you like to join in creating a new event? We'd like to hear from you! There are many opportunities waiting for your personal touch and creativity. Come to our general meetings, sign up on the forums or send us an email for listings in your area of interest. If you can't decide, we have many flexible positions open for your enjoyment. Full Volunteer Staff will receive free entrance to the convention and staff benefits, part time volunteers may receive up to half of their membership fee refunded based on time put into the convention. Please be sure to review convention policies and the waiver of liability located in the FAQ. Helping Out The Community: So, you want to be more involved but you still want to enjoy all of the convention? We have community service and street team programs that may be a good fit for you. Some members of M.E.W. Convention are volunteering in this excellent program. Free geek has a number of good causes that they support, one of which (their motto) is to help the needy get nerdy. Come join us! Free geek is on the bus line or check out the car pool section of the forum to see if any rides are available. Learn new skills or brush up on old ones, help your community and earn yourself a free refurbished computer from free geek for 24 hrs of service. |
